lowering

Ok, a friend of mine says that i could lower my car with eibach lowering springs (1.5" drop) without having to do struts. Other people have told me otherwise. So can it be done?

Well, I dunno...I have those eibach springs that you're describing and I did buy new struts (Koni Yellows)...my car rides great...but I don't know whether it's mandatory...it's recommended...but Im not sure if it's mandatory...

You don't have to change out the shocks right away. I had my Integra lowered on Skunk2 coilovers for almost a year without changing out the shocks. It just rides like ass and while you have it off it's easier to replace them at the same time.

I dropped mine with the eibachs and tokico shocks and the car rides awesome. But you should think about going with the sportline, it's a 1.8 drop. That's what I have with 17's and they don't rub and there is still a little bit of a gap between the tire and wheel well. You may not even notice a 1.5 drop.

It's probably just recommended that you do both the springs and struts but it's not necessary...

Eibach pro-kits are designed to work with factory shocks. They are 1.5". At 1.5" Its not so much the amount of drop u have to worry about its the spring rates. Go with the Skunk2 coilovers on and u will be a bouncing motha fu$#%$!! Way too much spring rate for stock shocks.
