premiers tomarrow. I'll be buying a bootleg of this(can't stand goig to the theaters). I just love metallica. Load, Reload, black album, St. Anger, I love them all!

Which one's you like? Fuel? Sandman? The Unforgiven? The Unforgiven 2?

no leaf clover is a good song..other than that I couldn't name any others....jsut don't like their sound for the most part

Pick up Load & Reload. Their Metallica's best albums. Garenteed you'll like at least a handful of songs off each album. Then after you get used to them go get St. Anger, which is on the heaviest metal albums ever. :cool:

No offense, Topanga, but Load and Re-Load are Metallica's WORST albums. Horrible guitar twang, James' country star crooning, ugh.... he only cool thing about Load was the use of ride cymbal and fretless bass on Until It Sleeps (a damn cool song). If you listen to older Metallica you won't hear any of that.

You wanna hear some good Metallica? Pick up Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets.

i agree, everything after load and reload suck balls.... granted load sucks hard, but they do have a couple OK songs.... the best albums are the older ones, master of puppets, ride the lightning, black album.... basically if it was before load, its fu(&*^ awesome...!!!
aint nothing like sitting and listening to the whole album without skipping songs or fast forwarding through them....

The new Metallica sux ass. The last heavy album they made, IMO, was Justice for All. The black album is where they started slowing down some... but not a bad album. Ol' Skool Metallica is incomparable. :cool:

Haha...I like this guy already. Everything after and including the "Black Album" is total horseshit. "And Justice For All" remains my favorite and still takes me back to my old school days when I was sitting in my room for hours trying to learn "One". There'll always be a place in my music collection for old Metallica, but their new stuff can fellate me copiously.

Older Metallica kicks-a$$. The newer stuff is o.k., but it's the older stuff that got me hooked.
