i am sooooo f---ing pissed!!! My supposed "friend" is fixing my civic and i KNOW i got ripped off. a thousand bucks to fix the back left corner of my car.. That shouldn't have been anymore than 600 bucks.. hes had the car since last monday. First this jackazz is telling me it will be ready friday.. then its monday.. then its tuesday night now its tomorrow morning. WTF!?!?!?!??!?! I call yesterday to see if I can pick it up and they tell me "the tail light just came in we'll put it on tonight and you can have it tomorrow" NOW they are telling me the tail light hasn't even come in yet. Whats with the BS?!?!?!?!?!? Don't lie to me!!! I swear I hope this place goes down for the illegal sh*t they pull because I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pissed off right now :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

tell them you are going to call the better business bureau and report them for stupid shit if they dont give you some answers and quit fawking around. or that you will contact whoever you have to so that they dont pull this crap anymore.

and then its a family owned place so when I called sometimes I would speak to his mother and every question I asked her answer would be don't worry he'll do the right thing..

dude i left my car for some sensors in the shop for one week and it was supposed to be like 2 days only. After i finally got it the rpms on it were goin up and down like crazy. I took the car to the shop and told them to shove it up their but. they told me to leave the car there overnight and they will take a look at it first time in the morning. So i stepped up to them and i really got hars on them: You either fix the car now or i want a prelude as a free rental until they fix it. When they heard that somebody got to my car right away. In no less than 5 minuts the car was fixed.

Wow, hopefully everything works out ok in the long run. Is $1000 really that much? Was there body and paint damage? I just got a small messed up part in my bumper repaired and it ran almost $600...

my moms car was 400 only to paint 1 quarter pannel and the rear bumper. All the other work was done by my dad at home. My car to fix all the dents in it is like 1200 not painted. Fucck that, i'll fix it myself and pay only for paint.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. At least mine was through insurance ;) And not my fault ;)

1000 for repairs isnt alot really, i got hit, needed door and rear 1/4 panle replaced and painted, cost me... well the old lady's insurance company 3500.

Dman that is crazy...I would also say get in touch w/ the Better Business Bureau bt besides that i wouldn;t have to much to do w/ the supposed friend after this what so ever. I would then pass the word of how shity there turn around times are etc to any and everyone I could...

I went to the shop and I got a BS story that some equipment wasn't working and it was in the paint room (restricted) but it has those windows so I snuck a peek on the way out and there was a Silver RSX in there. So my car is not at the shop and I am just like :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: right now

maybe its time to contact the police..... sounds like youve been screwed over or are about to be... maybe they could scare them straight and youd get yer car back :no:

Whoa, that's very strange. There's no other garage it could be in? I'd ask them straight out where the hell it is.

Basically I told them either my car is there at 2pm tomorrow or I will make them pay for a rental car and I will call the cops.

Besides they should be reponsible for it if something happend to it on Their shops property.... shouldnt they..

yes they should be responsible for any damages occured on their property, unless of course they had her sign a waiver which said anything against that. some shops do that.....the ones that BLOW ;)

Yesterday when I went.. they told me it was begin painted and I couldn't see it. And I today them I'm like I need it by 5pm (today) and my friends father is like "Ok no problem".. So I call today at 3:30 to check up and see if I could get it at 5 and then they told me they are having problems with the sprayer so its still not painted. So I totally lost it, I had my father call and they told him tomorrow at 5pm (friday) so my father is going to go with me.

This is really doing my head in.

Well hopefully it will all be taken care of tomorrow. Sucks that they're giving you the run-around though.

Well I called the cops and told them the story..
They told me to see what happens to tomorrow, if I get the car then they won't investigate but if I don't they will. It turns out others have reported this place.. they are doing some pretty f*cked up things at this place. I need new friends..

UPDATE:
The wrong bracket was sent and it doesn't fit my car.
So guess what? Tomorrow morning 8am me and 2 officers from the 119th precinct are heading over there.
