Removing Pinstripes
I got my car recently fixed and painted. And I need to remove the rest of the pinstripes left on the car. Thier painted on. I have heard of using laquer thinnner, but i have also heard that it will damage the clear coat. Razor blades, lighter fluid, etc. Does anybody have any ideas? I is there any products out there that i can buy? If so, where can I get it? Any ideas would be great .
posted this in body modifications but only got 1 reply in 3 days. |
well if they're trully painted on i don't think you can avoid damaging some of the surrounding paint. So just sand them out and then paint over.

if theyre the factory pinstripes, you cannot remove them w/o repainting...or at least re-clearcoating

anyone got any suggestions

they did suggest things. why are you ignoring them?
you cant just take off paint. you need to sand it down and prime it then paint it. |
Id deal with it
You bought the car...so you mustve thought theyre alright plus its sleeper y0! Granny pinstripes...who's gonna suspect? |
