Hello to all,

My name is Karl, I live in Australia and drive a 94 Accord. I'm here because I'm searching for info on increasing the performace of F22B's. There is not much local info on Honda's here as Australia is full of Holden Commondores and Ford Falcons, I belive they sell one over there now..The Pontiac GTO. These cars own me in a straight line, but when it comes to the tight corners or any corners, my accord makes it back. I've put on some new 17" Wheels, Koni Sports, King Springs and Mugen Drilled Rotors, which is enough money spent on handling and braking for a while. A little more HP is what I'm chasing now so I'll be querying some of you guys in the coming weeks.

Cheers
Karl

Welcome to HS!
you could always start with the basics.
intake,headers,exhaust.
then distributor,wires, and pulleys.
^and turbo is always fun.
i wouldnt mess with a body kit on your car,it looks clean how it is.
if you need to change the exterior, i would go with some lips and maybe a CF hood. what do you got planned for you interior?

That is one of the cleanest looking '94 Accords I have seen in a while...keep up the good work

oh, and welcome to HS.........

GT40FIED 06-21-2004 01:44 AM

Welcome...nice to see an Aussie on the board. By the way...any chance you could send me one of those Falcons? I promise I'm good for it. Hehe. Australia gets some wicked cool cars.

94_AcCoRd_EX 06-21-2004 01:56 AM

Welcome to HS

That's a great '94 accord you have there (and the best year too ;) )

How much money do you want to spend? That will determine whether you want to go turbo/swap or just add an exhaust.

Nizman 06-22-2004 04:00 AM

Hey thanks for all the complaments guys.

GT40FIED, what color you after?;) I'm glad you like Aussie cars, its just a shame we dont export the best ones, the Pontiac GTO USA gets is crap compared to the Austrlian version.

Another 5K should do it 94_AcCoRd_EX, but that has to cover interior upgrades as well. A mate of mine has one of those Momo one-piece racing seats and after driving in that, I've decided thats the first change to any car I own in the future. So really I only want to spend another 4K on the engine, what do ya recommmend I do?

(4,000.00 AUD Australia Dollars = 2,750.08 USD United States Dollars)

I guess I have one small advantage to you guys, Im closser to the JDM :)

Man...any color. Australia's FPV division makes some wicked ass cars. I can't remember the name of the car, but it was an FPV concept for a turbo'ed sedan that made something like 300 or 400hp. Sooooo nice. Plus I've been in love with Falcons ever since I saw "Bad Taste" (which was filmed in New Zealand but I'm sure the cars are the same as the Aussies). That and you lucky bastards got 351 powered Fox bodied Mustangs.

Otakuguy 06-22-2004 08:15 PM

yea...Australian cars have always been awesome. Dig that new Falcon, just saw it inthe new car and drvier recently.
Welcome to the board Nizman! glad to have ya!

Otakuguy 06-22-2004 08:16 PM

and oh yea, that IS a really clean accord. wonderful car you have man!

Welcome to board!

Very nice! I like aussie accord than usdm accord.

I really want RHD and a stick also clear corner lenses and bumper lenses.

Do you think Aussie is cheap than US?

How come there only black molding w/o paint?

yeah mate I do think Australia is cheaper than the US, you should see how many imports are doing laps down here. The Local Manufatures want them banned (Taxed out of price range).

I painted the bottom lip on the front bar to make it look more like an aftermarket spolier. Here is what they look like standard in Australia.....

Crafty Aussies and your damn metric system. Hehe. Like I know how those numbers convert to hp and torque.

IALuder 06-24-2004 05:20 PM

why does the falcom look like a mazda6? the only difference is the grill and lights.

mylittlecivic 06-25-2004 01:32 AM

Ok...I dobule checked what I was looking at...and that ain't it. I was looking at the FPV F6 Typhoon concept. 362hp, 405lb/ft ( or 270kw/550nm to you metric folks) from a turbo'ed 4.0L inline 6. You may gaze upon it's awesomeness HERE
