Potential newbie...
Hey wassup guys im new to Cars and everything but i really am thinking about getting a 2002 Honda Accord Sedan ... but there are a couple of things that i dont know like what is the difference bewteen EX and LX and SE. also what is a decent amout of milege i should be looking for when trying to buy a 2002 honda.. b/c i dont wanna buy a car with tooo many miles on it or anything.
I also want to get into customizing it, but nothing real drastic b/c i am not going to race this car... i may buy a civic later on and really get into customizing but like i said im new to cars. so... HI EVERYONE im ROCKY ;) |
Welcome to HS Rocky.....
EX is the "top of the line" so to speak....trim level includes power everything, sunroof, and bigger engine (usually)...LX is the next trim level down....SE is in-between LX and EX... Rule of thumb on mileage is about 12-15,000 miles per year...anything more than that depends on if it was alot of highway driving, etc..... |
Welcome to HS bro.

Thanks for the welcoming guys :)
also AccordinStyle, thanx for the info. I think i'll try to go for the EX then.. or maybe the SE which stand for Special Edition right? |

You're welcome...and yes, SE = Special Edition but you're better off going for the EX...there isn't much of a price difference and it will be worth it to you in the long run......... |
ok thanx alot. now i have more of an idea of the car i should be looking for.

The SE only comes out every 4 years. I personally have a 2004 Accord EX-L. You can't go wrong with the EX. Most people who buy Accords take really good care of them. Good luck in your ventures--and welcome to the site.

what does the L stand for in your 2004 EX-L ? |
welcome to HS I hope you get the right car for you. My friend and I went to get an Ex but she got tired of car shopping, so she got a Dx(next to the worst model) because it was in the best condition, so i guess im sayin dont give up haha
