VTEC light

I know this is kind of stupid, but i know some people have a light that turns on when their vtec is active and i was wondering how to do it. I know you guys said you have to run a wire from the vtec silenoid but i have no idea how to do it so i was wondering if someone could make a how- to post on how to do so. It would be greatly apprecieated.

Hehe...that's like having a shift light for an automatic tranny.

sometimes you cant really feel it kick in. Friend has a gsr and you can't really feel hers kick in. But then other friend has an 04 rsx-s and you can defenetly feel his kick in.

depends from cars to cars. I wouldn't do anything like that.

it kicks on around 5500rpm anyways...as long as it works
that'd be like having.....yeah a shift light on an at tranny

GeneralDzur 05-08-2004 05:20 PM

It's still pretty nifty looking though...

On my D16Z SOHC VTEC you couldn't feel a difference at all when it came on.
