A comment on my new Jeep
 

Well, it certaintly is a lot faster than my del Sol...faster than a lot of Honda's in fact. Of course, it doesn't do crap over 100 MPH, but it sure gets there a LOT faster.

I'm really liking the 4.0L I-6. Much more power than a 4-banger.

But - I still love Honda's - so don't start blasting me guys.

jeeps are great vehicles

Oh i dont really like them but they are great vehicles for winter. SO enjoy.

its not faster.... than any honda's my parents have owned 3 jeeps and there not that quick... my civic could def beat one with eas and my friend with a geo storm ... with a shitty muffler tor my 98 jeep up... but there are nice , but there not that quick... but nice

i wanted a jeep so bad for my first car. i might pick up a wrangler for my next car if i dont get something nice

I love them Wranglers. I was considering one for my second so I can go camping and 4xing again. I'm seriously considering it now because I saw the ad for the "new" longer version, the Wrangler Unlimited, which is really just an old version that they brought back again. I soooo want to get out and 4x again...........tooo much fun!!!!! :yes: :yes:

The only thing you might want to watch is the hood's paint...jeeps are notorious for having it flake there.
Long trips are going to suck for you because the bottoms of the seats are too short imo..
Its a good vehicle, despite what everyone says, you will enjoy it.

It may be a good vehicle..but I still hate them.

Depends on the Jeep.. our 95 Grand Cher would do 0-60 in just under 8 second.. which is faster than a civic.

Some jeeps are really fast, which ever one has the 5.5ish v8 it hung for the first 150 feet when I raced it a while back in the TSX. Mind you i had the A/C going, passenger and a full tank of gas.

The 95 JGC had the 318ci V8. All time 4wd and was pretty decent all around. Good acceleration, and could hold it's own extremely well off roading. Handling sucked obviously.

I just went off-roading today. It was a blast...seriously, I didn't know it could be that much fun.

My buddy has an older wrangler, we've gotten 4 of us in it and gone 4 wheelin, and it's a blast. But i'd rather go racing on the highways in worcester anyday over 4 wheeling :rolleyes:

People who race on the highways weaving in and outa traffic deserve a kick in the dick.

See?! Now you know what I mean. YEAH!!! Just wait until you go camping AND 4xing when you're really out in the sticks. That's the best part. :yes:

It sure is. As soon as I get a real job I'm getting a 4x4 for a second vehicle... probably an older CJ-7 that I can modify.

del sols are 99999999999x cooler than jeeps. i have to go by how a vehicle feels to me, and the del sol pwns any jeep. sols have the most bad ass interior ever

The del Sol does have a nice interior, and it handles waaaay better (because it's classified as a "sport" vehicle)....but pawns a Jeep?

Right.....

They are both designed for totally different things. The del Sol could NEVER do what a Jeep could, altough they are cool.
