Civic EX Sunroofs
 

In my EX I think I have a problem with my sunroof. Can anyone tell me how far it is supposed to go back? If anyone has pictures of their sunroof fully open that could help me out a lot. Thanx bros & sisses

I looked for pics and I couldn't find anything. If you post a pic of it I can tell you if it's normal. Or maybe if you describe what you think is wrong I can help...

damn, Im sorry I forgot.. Now its getting dark... Ill try to do it tomorrow aslong as there isnt about 6 inches of snow on my roof..

She(She?) has a 94 though. They go above the roof if I'm not mistaken.

yeah he is right it goes above the roof not inside. I guess no one has pics but I don't think it's right.. I mean I've seen other cars.. like back when I had a Probe (:pukey) that sunroof went all the way back.. I mean you could see it through the back windshield. On the civic the back pops up and goes back about 4/6ths of the way and then the motor makes a whining sound and stops.

That still sounds about right tho.. I have a friend that had a 5th Gen with a sunroof and a Friend with a 95 Teg, and neither one of them open all the way up...

i just looked at my friends 5g a lil while ago......it doesnt go all the way back.

my motor whines tho.. who knows maybe thats how its supposed to be

new motors are easy to come by, you can get them from a junkyard for like $20, sometimes less. depending on the junkyard of course.

the moonroof in my 7th gen doesnt open all the way up
