cluster...
alright i got a few questoins... i fi buy an SI cluster can i hook it up to my HF cluster and still work properly and will i be able to adjust the miles on it? also did the d16a6 in the crx have the same trans at the hf? does anyone have a d16a6 they would liek to sellin good shape or a T3 turbo??
|
Cluster should be fine. Check with Pdiggs he did that on his civic but its a newer generation. AS far as the motor hit a junkyard or a place that has totaled cars and buy one off a car that was hit in the back. About the turbo i really dont know. TRy ebay and get a used one of that and go cutom.

you wont be able to fix the milage
|
i hate that...... and the d16a6 should just drop in right?
|

WOW Anyway aren't all clusters plug and play for the same chassis? |
same chassis clusters are plug and play, yes
|
and yes the d16 will fit, and you fix the odometer but it illegal so i think that is out of the question, but you dont have to worry because its an older car and odometer readings are obsolete for cars that are like older than 14 years
|
its illegal to roll clusters back, not forward
Also, if swapping clusters then it is also legal, and expected (though I havent done that yet) |
how had is it to get d16z6 into a crx?
|
probably just wiring issues, that could be solved w/ a decent harness (obd0->1) - ie boomslang
( http://www.boomslang.us/obd0.htm ) Other than that, it already has a D16A6, so another d16 wouldnt be much different, if at all. ...probably :luck: |

It's not. |
yeah we droped a zc into my friends 90 dx. and it is illegal to rollback/or forward the odometer, but in his case it wouldn't matter cause it is an obsolete reading after 14 years
