Hey everyone ... well im gonna drop something in the Del Sol im gonna do Ls then Turbo ? where should i buy my motor from? and how much does the Ls usually cost? My GSR was 3,400 i dont wanna spend that ever again...:nono: o did i mention its still not done....

If you plan to turbo, why not get a b20b instead of a b18b? It is probably cheaper too, as the b20b comes out of the CRV and not used as frequently.

What motor do u have in the sol right now? Isn't it the SOHC VTEC?

yeah its a 202,555 mile sohc motor haha... the crv thing sounds cool but id have to look into it more thanks for the help highlander...:yes:

because turbo b20 needs resleeving, doing that he might as well get another gsr, as it would add on another $1500, roughly.

Id check locally for a decent ls motor, and then if I couldnt find one Id go either totaljdm.com, hmotorsonline, sohfast.com or importautosalvage (in no particular order).

Tie in a b16/gsr tranny to it...stupid long as shit ls gearing...

get a B18b and a B16 tranny. thats a bad ass setup. my friend got in in his teg. that thing is quick. but he hasnt turbo his car yet. he went to do all motor work first. I.E. cam shaft, 3 point port and polish, cams, piston and rings,intake, headers and cat back. defenitly a nice ride. do that to you sol. youll love it.
