FIGHT

juvenile 04-14-2004 11:28 PM

Yeah, you ruined it! haha. It's still 2-2 though, so it doesn't mean anything. Either way both are strong teams. Might I ask though why you are cheering against the leafs? Are you an Ottawa fan mang?

biker's back 04-15-2004 09:34 AM

No I dont hate the leafs, they're just a suckie team. Havent won the cup in 36 years and yet they have the highest ticket prices. Seems like they're all about the money....

juvenile 04-15-2004 09:55 AM

Remember, business is all about money, and the leafs are still what...a business :)

Btw..I'll just leave you with one reminder..Ottawa never won a cup ;) Think about that one.

And you should be buying results, not cup should mean lower ticket prices. I cant figure why anyone would pay to see the leafs

juvenile 04-16-2004 12:09 AM

*ahem* When was the last time you remember me paying to see the leafs? :hmmm: hehe

It's mostly suits that go to the stadium...well during regular season. Playoffs, fans start to kick in more often.

KwikR6 04-16-2004 01:26 AM

OMG paying ot see the leafs wants only directed to you.

juvenile 04-16-2004 10:00 AM

Haha, no it wasn't. I'm just saying that there are leaf fans that don't pay to see tons of games each season. So when you agrue that they're a sucky team due to their high ticket prices, that kind of renders it useless. :) Oh and the cup is their main goal but it doesn't mean a team sucks if they don't win it. You don't jump team to team and follow only those who win cups. True fans stick to one team through thick and thin. :)

biker's back 04-16-2004 10:59 AM

I didnt say they sucked bc they had high ticket prices, I didnt make that connection. I said for a team that hasnt won the cup in ages their ticket prices are too high.

juvenile 04-16-2004 11:33 AM

Yeah but the cup is only a few games of the whole season. They still play pretty darn good to make it to the playoffs on a consisten basis. They get pretty good points each year, so when people go to see those games, they get the excitement they paid for. When they go to see game #32 of the season, they are watching that game and not the cup games etc etc. Anyways, to each his own :)

CD5Passion 04-16-2004 04:37 PM

im definatly rootin for them lightning, nice to see that Tampa bay teams arent the bottom of the sh1t pile

juvenile 04-21-2004 10:43 PM

Well, looks like it's on to Philly

na na na na, hey hey hey hey, whoa whoa woooooo..goooooddbyyyyeee otttawa....that's 4 times in the last 5 years :bandit:

Oh and to leave you all something with the last series

Little Johnny was in his nursery class when the teacher asked the
children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up - fireman, policeman, salesman, etc...
Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father.
"My father’s an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all
his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the offer’s really good, he’ll go out to the alley with some screaming and take it up the ass."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some colouring, and took little Johnny aside to ask him,
"Is that really true about your father?"
"No," said Johnny, "he plays for the Ottawa Senators but I was too
embarrassed to say".

About next...I say all 4 are going to be pretty tight competitions, and most likely will goto 6-7 games. Hard to say who'll win.
