Need Help with Springs?
I just purchased a 2000 Honda Civic Si and I am looking at lowering it. I just purchased a set of Eibach Sportline Springs for it which will give it a 1.6 drop all the way around. The question that I have is has anyone used the same springs and if so did they need a alignment kit? I have lowered many cars before and have not had to do this of course none of them were hondas so that makes a difference. Any information would help! Thanks!

I have a 1.7 drop on my car and I needed an camber kit on both ends.
You could install the springs and then examine the wheels w/ a level afterward to see if you needed to add a kit to adjust the camber...but I say you'll need one. |
It wouldnt hurt.....

anything lower than a 1.5 drop on a honda requres a camber kit

i have a 2 1/4" drop and i havent noticed any odd wearing of the tires.

they say the good rule of thumb is 2 inches. Anything more than that requires a camber kit. I personally had a 1.5 inch drop on my Civic. I put 30,000 miles on it before I sold it. There was no uneven tire wear what so ever.
