My friend is wanting to buy an 86' corrolla gts or something like that, and then do an engine swap. What are some good engines that would fit well?

I'm not sure if that will fit....toyota and nissan?

yeah the sr20det is a nissan sentra/240sx engine.

20B 20B!!!! they've put almost everything in those cars... i think the mr2 turbo is one of the more sought after swaps

If I were your friend, I wouldnt swap anything into that car. Its a classic that is hard to find. Perfect for learning how to drift.
