U/R Crank Pulley INSTALLED: Review/Writeup Inside !

Did it in about 2 hours, taking my time. I actually made a friend during the install (guy came up and started talking to me), so I kinda too my time with the install and talked to him more than actually working on the car. I honestly had little idea what I was supposed to do when I started in on the install, and at a few points I was ready to give up. The 12mm bolts on the bottom of each tensioner pulley are a B!TCH to get to from the top of the engine bay. Eventually I got it all together, and best of all, no squeal on startup, just a tad bit of squeal on a uturn I made, any ideas on this? I highly recommend this mod, I feel a slight increase in power, and lots better idle/takeoff and better throttle response. Great product, and great DIY project for someone who isn't afraid to break into their motor. I imagine the pulley would be much easier to install onto a honda. And, before the tech wizards jump me for this;), the VQ35DE is internally balanced and does not require a harmonic balancer in the pulley. ;)

PS: Get some mechanix gloves for this. My hands look like they've met a weed eater...

sounds like a plan to me. i know my harmonic balancer is internal and not in the crank pulley.

carnk pulleys suck on hondas!! Stefan knows about that cause when i tried to get mine off i bitched about it everynight on aol lol.
I had to remove mine when i did my water pump and ended up having it towed to the honda shop and let them get it off.

It is internally balanced, so there are no negative effects of the new crank pulley...;)
