Mmmk, i was wondering a few things.

Is the SR22DET legal?

Is the RB26DET legal?

And is right hand legal in the US without putting it as a kit car?

just some curious questions.

if it meets emission standards (state depending)
and is newer or same yr as the vehicle chassis
then more than likely yes

right hand drive is fine.

also i dont think there's a sr22, i know theres a stroker kit for the sr20 that makes it a 2.2ltr though.

Really? i didnt know that i thought that its wasnt legal because of the obvious vision imparment.....people are always saying "Japanese cars arent legal because of different glass." .....WTF?? what does that glass have anything to do with the fact that you cant see around a car on a 4 lane road?

Maybe the stock Japanese cars don't come with the necessary "safety glass" that won't shatter on impact? US has tons of detailed requirements...

I like RHD and possible to drive here. I seen the LHD was on the picture at Japan are BMW or even else German and US cars.

Well, i emailed toda, and they said that their kit is what makes an SR20det an "SR22DET" but there IS and SR22DET, it is official drift speculation and has never been sold in US, its basically the SR20DET with the stroker kit stock.
