i was driving around and this neon pulled up next to me, and said that he wanted to race me, im like okay, but go easy on me i just learned how to drive stick(HEHEHE yeah right)

well we go out to a place called the compound, where there is an abondand 1/4 mile track(1.5 miles actually but it is marked at 1/4 increments), we lined up he said that his friend will flag us,(i knew what was going to happen) and i said i have $100 dollars on me right now what you got? he said oh you want to play like that, ok 25. so his friend says 1....2...3.. and drops his right hand and not his left hand(my lane, but i went when he droped the other hand) to make a long story short we took off and i was doing 50 in 1st, hit 80 in second and we were door to door, and i pulled on him in third, it was great he didn't even give me my money, which didn't matter cause i didn't have his money either. god i love this accord!!!

nope not a v-6, good ole 4 banger, dynoed at 160-ish(159.435)hp, the engine was rebuilt when it rolled over to 100,000 miles, so it has 50 some thousand miles on the newly rebuilt engine.






they aren't rare but they are hard to find, just found out something wierd about my car, it is a 1996, but it is considered a 95 (95.5 basically if you get what im saying) so it has all the nifty things of 96 that werent offered in a 95, the tail lights are also 94-95 style (no piece on the trunk lid). it has been sprayed a darker green color, with a midknight blue flake, sweet color, paid 3500 for it, waiting for tax return to buy i/h/e (has that on thier but because the guy that sold it to me didn't have stock components) consists of iceman intake, dc sports header and exhaust, and has no2 line already run, no solenoid's or anything, just the lines.

Mine redlines @ 30ish in first, 60ish in 2nd.

thaqt does seem a little fast....mine only get like 30 in 1st and 58 in 2nd....82 in 3rd......110 in 4th....

yeah mines like 30 first, 55 2nd, 70 3rd, 4th sucks major balls, probably do like 90, it's soo damn slow, i'll test it out today

well in an automatic power shifting you could. but in a stick hitting that fast seems unreal. but i hit 45 in my lude. then agian it redlines at 7.2rpm.

nice kill imo. i have only seen one 2dr 5spd accord in my life. all friends have 2dr autos. hmm how much to swap to stick?

You redline @ 7.2k, but your gear ratios are different also. You get up there quicker.

nice kill man..fuck those neon drivers..they piss me off bad...lol the SRT-4s or nice..but u pull up in a neon Rs or something and its like..does it look like im peddleing a huffy..its an insult lol
