I mean I'm a big fan of the turbo'ed RX-7s (even the 1st gens)...but the color is just ridiculous.

If a man drives that he should be beaten to a bloody pulp on national ricer-tv. If it is a chick driving it, she'd better be hot...

Painting is just an extra 500-1000 bucks if ur changing the color but i would of never done that in the first place. Maybe a girl owned it but it still way too bright. An orange could look nice on it.

^^ Color changing the right way is such a pain in the ass...you've got to take off a bunch of parts like the front end and strip the original color from all these little nooks. The you've got to pull the engine and strip and respray the engine bay. I helped a friend do a car like that once and with both of us working together it took about a week to finish (I didn't do any painting or stripping...just removal and reassembly). I like my car's color just fine.

I'd love to own an RX7. I'd even drive it pink if it was all fixed up and tricked out.

this brings up a good question... if someone were to give you a car to drive, but it was hot pink, what is the worse car you'd settle for.

(I know none of you'd drive a pink CRX)

i would drive it, i had to drive a hot pink s10 for like 2 months, you know the color i am talking about, the stock hot pink, it was fabulous!! jfwy, but i would drive that car, only cause i love wankle rotaries! 13b all the way !!(that is what i had in my 929)
