I think it's a typer replica!

Civickid0to60 03-08-2004 06:24 PM

def. a replica, but still nice nonetheless.

MAXed Out 03-08-2004 06:26 PM

Nothing impressive tho.

B16DoHcCrx033003 03-08-2004 06:30 PM

i know but i would just love to own a right driver seat car, i think it would be great, going threw a drive threw and watch the people in the windows that gives you the foods faces, or going to a fullserive gas station and laff when they come to the wrong window... plus i think it looks so much better for some reason...

Civickid0to60 03-08-2004 06:39 PM

yes, but its highly illegal, unless its registered as kit car? correct me if im wrong plz. i think thats the deal with them not sure.

MAXed Out 03-08-2004 06:49 PM

I don't really see what the big deal about a right driver seat is. But i think it's illegal.

Buddy converted a Civic to rhd and he made it legal.. i dont know how he did it but he still runs it around. Hes right now doing rwd conversion with a s2k motor... that will be interesting

MAXed Out 03-08-2004 09:20 PM

Damn that should be a nice setup. Wonder how fast it will be:yes:

IALuder 03-08-2004 10:23 PM

hmmm buy it!

GeneralDzur 03-08-2004 10:37 PM

But people...How would you shift!?!? Maybe I'm just dumb or something buuuut......I've trained my right hand on the shifter.
I think it'd hurt me more than help me, although it would look cool.

Agreed...it's pretty nice and clean. Actually it may be one of the nicest and cleanest ITRs I've ever seen. It's just that aside from the RHD, it doesn't seem to be real special. But if I was in the market for an ITR, I'd buy it (maybe not for what the guy's asking, though).

C's 94 InTeGrA 03-09-2004 07:45 AM

i tried to move the car and it was pretty simple to shift just felt kind of weird

MAXed Out 03-09-2004 08:09 AM

^are u talking about ur buddy's del sol?

cashizslick 03-09-2004 08:12 AM

It could take some getting used to, but i'd still do it.

BTW, if you have an RHD car and wanna register it - just BUY the us equivalent and switch the Vin #'s and sand the serialz off the frame and other locations :)

97CivicBoy 03-09-2004 09:08 AM

what does RHD mean?

ebpda9 03-09-2004 09:15 AM

Right Hand Drive

the civic.. got to acutally drive the del sol down the street. it had a ton of power at the time so i couldnt do much with it

MAXed Out 03-09-2004 02:58 PM

Nice. That's the sol with the h22 in it rite?

C's 94 InTeGrA 03-10-2004 03:25 PM

Acutally i dont know what motor was in it. He wouldnt tell me but i was looking at the jdm cluster he had in it and it had a redline of over 9 and i figured it was a B18C5 type r motor.

thermal 03-10-2004 03:56 PM

actually.... I do not think that this is a replica. It would be so much of an inconvenience to switch from a LHD to RHD, remove and install dashes, relocate the battery, reposition the wire harnesses, etc.... Shit with that time and money, you could have a turbo and a built motor running at least 12's.......

JDM ITR's are not B18C5..... those are USDM ITR's. JDM ITR motors are stamped B18C (no codes) with a PR3 head.
