Suspension question...Lowered 4 your approval.....
 

To all you people riding with 2 inch drop or betta (2 1/2 in my case) have you had any problems with your control arms (specificly the ball joints on the upper control arms) and your tire rods or does this wack sh*t only happen to guys like me? I knwo there a stickey but with you response may I have you suspension set up. Thanks. Tokico HP's (they suck) :pukey and eibach ground controls keep my car off the ground.

what A-arms are you using?

See, the arms like that is what your steering rack looks like when you drop your car

its supposed to look like


The higher the arms go on these guys the more wrong the pose is and the dumber they look.
The lower your car goes the worse it is for the rack and joints...thats why your killing ball joints...theyre not supposed to be angled like that. You have coilovers, so raise it up...your joints and wallet w/ thank you.

i don't have any problems with it and i am at a 3.5" drop

mine was lowered like all the way it could go, and i never had a problem with ball joints, i'm talking like it was tucking all my tire on the back, jsyk i have 40's on the back and same on front and it was fucking tucking like a hoe, no problem tho

mines dumped and doing fine, and i abusy my balljoints cause apprently i have to pull my motor every other day nowadays. or fix a strut, or change an axle. Now my brake rotors are warped. lord have mercy ! WOO
