Gearsets Dog/Synchromesh
Hi everybody, I have heard of a company that manufactures billet synchromesh & Dog mesh gearsets for the B & H series manual boxes in Australia. The name is PAR the web address is www.par-engineering.com Apparently this company is supplying allot of serious racers in CA and they are having great success & are cheap apposed to other companies with good warranty.
Has anybody used these, I would love any feed back. |
sounds like a good product for racing. Not sure if I want to use it on the street though.
|
That's why this information was so interesting because as they just do not do Dog mesh but replacment streetable everday synchromesh with option of a ring & pinion
|
Why do I have the feeling youre affiliated with them?
|
I do drag racing in my integra it has ran 12.8@ 115mph I have blown 4 boxes since i have bought the car & sick of breaking them. I have heard of these gearsets & are supposed to be the way to go. Would love feed back.

I have that same feeling. Do you have slips? Pics? |
the par gearset is supposed to be sick... although it's not exactly a streetable mod... it should be great for a drag only car...
Also keep in mind if you're not tearing apart trannies as it is it's a worthless expensive p.i.t.a. mod... Oh and i'd search google if I were you... http://www.mrtrally.com.au/forums/to...?TOPIC_ID=7041 one guy on there threw his par gearset in the GARBAGE because it cost him so much in having it removed and shipped back and forth SEVERAL times... although even he mentions that it was the first line of gearsets they came out with for the WRX and the newer ones were supposed to be better... Turbo magazine put one in a S-ER which has the sr20 motor in it but is MAJORLY handicapped by it's weak tranny... I'd check that article out if you can it's really informative... ish. |
