i'm goin to upgrade my ignition here soon and I was wondering what everyone recommends? I mena ALOT of people use the MSD setup and I see that Crane is popular. Are those my main choices or do I have others?

Info and feedback would be greatly appreciated..

Ugggh, Jacobs is shit. No way they are on the same level as MSD.

Ask yourself this. How many times have you seen the big boys running Jacobs ignition products to help motivate their 5500HP monsters down the track.

Buy what you want, but IMHO, jacobs is only good for one thing, tossing in the trash. I'll never own another Jacobs product for as long as I live.

MSD all the way.

The problem with Jacobs, is their Administration and Custimer Service.. Their was a lot of BS going on, especially in 99. Lots of stories of wrong parts being sent out.

But their modules are amazing for Hondas. For higher revving engines with daily driving manageability, the Jacobs unit is much better suited.

Avoid using their wires though..

To be totally safe, you should go with the MSD. Tried, tested and still true.

But I think you could get a little bit better with Jacobs. If you'll be getting it from a store that you know offers a good service. Then, you might as well.

:)
