adjustable non-adjustable
the heading says it all. would their be downfalls in using say kyb non adjustables to say kyb adjustables?
|
If your talking about the AGX..
The only thing you can adsjust is the comfort.. not height.. No real downside to it.. Unless you prefer to have a stiffer setup at times! :) |
The adjustable ones are more aggressive then the nonadjustables.. You can make them have a stiffer damper..
|
Pay more for adjustable you dont know when youll be chasin cones in an empty parking lot at 2AM;)
|
I'd go adjustable because I like to tinker with things. Remember though, AGX struts are only good down to a 1.5" drop.

Yeah, but I've heard of them not doing so well below that. Didn't EliteAccord blow one out? |

IT's possible.. I've tested them at 2.25 and they were running fine and sharp. |

This whole discussion just shot my thoughts on the KYBs. Of course I'm only going 1.6", but still. Every time I make my mind up I find something else to consider. |
I was happy w/ my GR-2s untill two blew in less than 18 months...on PRO KITS no less! I will be going with Koni threaded body sometime this summer, till then the rear is riding on the springs...
