Cold Air Intake Install Question
I just bought a CAI for my 1996 Prelude S, and i was wondering what if it is a hard install to do or its it easy just taking out old one and shoving in new one.
if its a cold air its not too difficult, but will take some time. what kind of intake is it?
AEM

It should be pretty easy, it came with instructions, right? you disconnect a few hoses, remove all of the old plastic parts, including resonator, and shove the new tubing down there, running it up into your throttle body. 96...that might have sensors you need to deal with....i dunno. havent dealt with preludes yet.
it doesnt come with instructions, cuz i am buying it from my friend who had it installed for him, and hes lost them while moving. and i dont think there are any sensors, cuz all i see are hoeses thats it
you have to remove your intake and resanator(in bumper) then its pretty much strait forward.
I know I had trouble getting to all the screws holding the resonator in place, but once you get that, it's pretty straight forward. do you have a new filter already or are you using his old one? you may want to clean that before you install.
ok, got the intake, and have it installed as short ram, but i need to figure out how to get the headlights out in order to get the bumber off. How do you remove the headlights?!
damn i actually just tried getting my headlights off last night and forgot where all the bolts were... i'll see if i can find a diagram or something
