Latest video - my front air dam cam!
Since my black and white mini cam broke, I decided to duct tape my color Canon ZR40 to my front air dam (until my brand new color mini cam shows up!). Here was what I have made:
(17MB) www.arusho.com/dsmbig.mpg And here is a smaller, SHORTER version: (6.7MB) www.arusho.com/dsmsmall.mpg ALSO, here is an animated gif for those of you who don't want to download at all! ![]() |
nice! great job editing that!
|
hm. cool. shoulda left motor noise somehow.
|
i think it couldve been a tiny bit shorter (the longer one) cause it got a bit boring around the end
but it did entertain me and made me want to do the same (or kinda...) |
yes, i reviewed it many times and I do realize it does get old. I cut out quite a bit from what it was.
What would be exciting is weaving through heavy traffic! |
oh and what about that 2second night scene?
just thrown in for good measure? |
Looks great, but I'd love to hear some engine noises with it.
|
cool idea. looks nice

depending on your setup, you could add audio pretty easily. Just as soon as you want to start recording, have a master switch that starts the video camera recording, and an audio recorder, preferably digital. heck an mp3 recorder will work. just mount a microphone in your engine bay. after ward, just merge the audio onto the video (there are several dvd ripping programs that do this), and it should be pretty accurate.

on the small one...whered you get the music...or whats the song called?
|
i like it. great job
|
The song is Paul Okenfold "Hallucinogen"
|
isnt it spelled Oakenfold?
out of curiosity, what are you using for recording? i'm talking storage. VCR, onboard camera memory, wireless? |
oops, yah its Oakenfold.
I am using digital video tape with a Canon ZR40. Mini color cam is on its way... |
