AEM CAI review
Well. I bought a CAI off a friend for 50$. Its AEM so i figured why not. after 5 mintues of install time, i let it rip. I was actualyl surprised. It was actually noticeable on the B. Top end seemed more fun, and the intake was worth the money. now to sovle the hydrolocking by creatively extending...
|
extending?
The lower you make it the more likely it is to suck up water... But yeah short ram to CAI is a big difference... I've taken a couple people for rides in my car with the short ram on then with the CAI and EVERYONE has noticed the difference... |
well, relocate with like IC piping so its not as dangerous.
|
there is a suprising difference between shortram and cold air. last winter i took out my aem cold air and put the cone filter on the end of the stock piece that goes from the tb to the airbox. i couldnt wait to get the cold air back in...
|
bah....get a turbo and feel the difference!;)
|
i have a CAI installed and cut for the bpv, and last winter i had it converted to a short ram. the car had a lot more balls with the short ram.

yeah me too. hopefull ill have teh boost. i cut hte intake to long ram today. word.

Not a bad idea. I use to mess with my friend who had the Arospeed "interfooler" (front mount intake system). The dude turned around and bought a T28. We then put it the turbo together on his DX. Now it kicks major arse!

hehehe kewl.... I should get one when I do the engine swap in my ride... no point in buying one now... engine stock... well I have a Weapon-R short ram intake haha.... going with AEM with my next engine fo sho y0.......
