damn the insurance company
 

Can you beleive it the other day i get a call from my insurance man saying that i cant drive anything in my moms name..... fine I think i will just put the car in my name. and then he says that for that to happen it would be around 8k a year for insurance!:yikes: So i have three options here: 1.) take insurance off my si and drive around a big ass F-150 or 2.) Take dingo's car....give him mine (the si) let him use that as a trade in for his audi s4.... or 3) find another insurace company that will take me with 6 tickets and not rape me with no lube. What are your guys's insurance company? I have autoowners right now...sister company to Progressive.

Well 3 isn't going to happen. And i think 1 will still give you pretty high payments. As for 2, i forgot mom traded in her Z for it. So it may help me a little bit...

yeah 6 tickets... expect to pay tons of money... I am 18, perfect record, attended driving school, good grade discount, etc etc, 3200/year. That 3200 is with a 1k deductible and 500/500/250 coverage. I would recommend calling around to several insurance providers. Try raising your deductible and lowering your coverage...

thats not very much considering that your 18 male and drive around in a new sports car.....i have like the the power you do and still pay morre.....ouch

personally i would get the s4 over a SI anyday...just my opinion

Insurance companies always find loopholes. I was in an accident in my husband's car and even though I as covered as a driver and could drive anyone's car and be covered, they wouldn't cover that one because they said his car was "too accessible" to me. I fought that one for months until my insurance company gave in and paid for it. They suck...I have unitirn insurance now...we pay @ 250 a month for both of us...not great, but better
