ghetto FabB
whats the most ghettoest thing you have done to a car???
mine.. a dryer duct CAI... |
^done that myself...guess thats the ghetto-est thing
my styrofoam bumper cover is duct taped to the support...permanently edit**oh, and I used a soup can and zip ties to patch the bpipe once too...which also worked |
Mine was probably tying my muffler with a metal coat hanger but it did the job.
|
duct taped the crossovers to the inner door panel... although that will be changed over Thanksgiving Break...
|
fit a boombox in my old 84 tercel's dash ;)
sprayed wd 40 in the intake of the tercel just to hear the biotch redline with the tb closed. ;) |
when i wrecked my bodykit, i duct taped the shit out of it, it was all over, also in my civic before i wired it, i had a neon on the interior of the roof, connected by yes.....industrial strength velcrow. so the wire was hanging down and connected into the lighter.... ahh my days of civicdom. no offense to anyone.
|
used a discman and some home audio speakers for my CD player when my deck fried
|
i used my discman it has a little transmitter and i tuned it to the radio, because all i had was a radio and a tape deck, ive probably done some other stupid stuff but i cant remember now.
|
lol........glad i never did anything that bad.........worst i did was when i killed my hubcap on my achieva, i said screw and bought a set at walmarts. god did my bf at that time wantto kill me. but i didnt want to spend tons of money on that car cuz i wasnt keeping it for much longer. lil did i know 2 weeks later i totalled it. it was a very good first car to me though.

neon in the gauge cluster.
red upholstery. homemade seat brackets. |
workin on my friends 2002 Cavy Z24 he got a intake for it. The throttle bodie is down by the front of the car and the intake box is on the left side of the motor up against the firewall. Well we wanted it to get more air so we turned the intake pipe down behind the radiator and the filter came down from under the car and sat about an 1inch off the ground LOL ! its not safe but its funy;)
|
painted my stock hubs BLACK lol they look better than the silver ones though haha!!!;)
|
When I FIRST got my first car... it came with NO stereo.. no am/fm no speakers... not even the friggen wiring...
I had a boombox with VERY BIG home speakers in there for MONTHS... it was great... Bought a tape deck and some speakers... they got stollen 2 days later... Back to the boombox... it was like that for almost a year... sounded fine... switching tapes was interesting though... (it was wedged between the back of the pass. seat and the rear seat.). Other than that just neglect... and no-choice situations... I've been riding around on COMPLETELY spun shock bushings since I did my rear-disk conversion... Just finally did the rear last night... The G-dam shock mount bolt snapped though So I had to chisel off the welded nut and re-use it... with a bolt that I found in the "bolt drawer" at my buddies shop... Pretty ghetto... but not too bad... Don't have any hubcentric rings on my wheels... Up until a month or so ago I had the stock honda lugs on my aftermarket wheels. My buddy used to have the ultimate ghetto ride though.. it was a 86 jetta with blue lights from caldor in the fender-wells and underbody... it actually looked pretty cool... couldn't tell it wasn't neon.. and it was funny because it was a TOTAL sh!tbox... But I try to avoid any ghettoness on my car... I generally try to think of what may happen and either plan for it or try to be prepared... |
haha thats some ghetto stuff^^^^^^^^^^^^^
|
used sewer PVC piping to get a "ram air" effect to my short ram intake:yes:

You sure you don't live in Kansas? I was with a friend in his SVO Mustang and we pulled up next to a guy with a huge ass muffler held up with a coat hanger. My friend proceeded to insult him for said hanger and then rape him hard when the light turned green. |
