Toque
 
i am wondering about the turbo bolts !
there are some toques on some bolts
do i really have to use those forces????
how do i know if i am using tha much toque??

I think he means are there any special torque specs for the bolts with the turbo..

Yes, if the torques are specified, go out and get yourself a torque wrench to do the install with. You'll be much better off in the long run.

good advice, the reason that you want to pay close attention to your torque specs, is becuase over tightening of the bolts can usually cause bad things to happen like cracking and breaking for example.

yea, a torque wrench is a must if you want to do some major mods to your car. Also, it wouldn't hurt to get a breaker bar as well. It has helped me out in some tough situations because of lack of muscle ;)

don't ever use a torque wrench to break bolts. I have the needle type torque wrench. It's cheap compared to the other types of torque wrenches, but it's a CRAFTSMAN!!;)

never i mean NEVER ever not use a tq wrench on oil pan bolts i tried taking a shortcut with a 3/8 breaker bar and SNAP went the bolt that took me 2 days to get the stupid bolt out!!!

Taking it out or putting it in??

is there a specific amout of torque for it? does anyone know?

Yes it's necessary to have a breaker bar and torque wrench it has yet been stated as to the amount of torque to tighten it to....

of is it just me?:confused: :)

get a helm's manual, it will tell u toques on very bolts
