it looks like it was an acrobatic plane or whatever for those air shows.... maybe it took off like that cause... it can........ lol i dunno strange looking though

It's an acrobatic plane. I've seen them before. They have a type of rocket that can be mounted on the underside of the plane. It's a special "powered assist" source of take off. The military started using them back in the day for big planes trying to take of on a short runway. Basically they can produce 2 or even 3 times the trust power a typical plane can generate. So if it produce's a 100 pounds of thrust the rocket can be set to 200 or 300 more. I saw it down at the Willow Grove Air Show last year. He flew like 20 ft down the runway, hit that rocket & shot strait up like 100+ feet. Looked like one heck of a ride. We saw it done on BIG 4 prop cargo ship. It was very heavy compared to the other plain. He went down the runway like 50 to 70 feet, hit the 4 rockets, pulled the stick ALL the way back & shot up in the air. TOTAL crazy. It was a big @$$ plain to. :rambo: :shocking:

it was actually on ripleys believe it or not last night.... they had a whole segment on that plane... kinda interesting
