ahhhhhhh

its like a never ending job keeping my place somewhat clean. if its not dishes its my room, and if its my room that means i need to do laundery and take dishes to the kitchen, then i have more stuff to clean in the kitchen. i need a girl to clean my apt for me

just venting cause im cleaning while waiting for my food to finish cooking... then got more shit to clean.

pdiggitydogg 11-08-2003 10:04 PM

so take the dishes into the kitchen after you eat of them...at least to soak w/ water...I learned my lesson on that
trying to keep it someone clean in the first place is the key...

edit**oh and I think youre looking for more "aghhh"...ahhhhh" is more like the sound you make after a fart or something

Shaved &/or Laid 11-08-2003 10:30 PM

lmao.

get disposable plates and cups and shit

ebpda9 11-09-2003 12:06 AM

lol, i hear you bro. i just took this morning a shit load of dishes to the kitchen to have them washed then i had to clean my room. funny thing is if my room is clean i can't find shit, but if it's really messy i don't have to look for things more than 2 seconds. weird ain't it ?

nonovurbizniz 11-09-2003 11:51 AM

I have 2 kids to clean up after... trust me you ALL have it easy...

My son watches me put ALL of his toys into a bin... 10 mins. later he drags it into the middle of the living room and dumps it out...

The two of them wear more close than a cindy crawford doing a one model show. I do like 8-20 loads of laundry a week...

4 people eating breakfast lunch and dinner... that equals dishes...

Ugh.

I'm getting depressed typing this as I look at my son dump out another bin of toys...

GT40FIED 11-10-2003 02:47 AM

I say just start buying paper plates. That's what I do. I generally only have enough time to eat once a day (dinner) and that's generally when I'm drinking so I don't wanna f@ck around with cleaning up. Just eat off of it and throw it out. If that's not acceptable, just fill the sink with soapy water and let it soak overnight. Maybe run a sponge over it the next day and rinse it off. As for cleaning up your room...just make sure everything goes where it belongs in the first place and you don't need to worry about putting it away later. Tat took a LOT of getting used to for me but it's worked out pretty well.

^ RED FLAG RED FLAG!!
on the contrary, Florida blows the big ones
if its not hot and humid then its raining or humid, and sometimes (especially during the winter) its too cold then it gets hot during noon then freezing at night so you never know what to wear, you end up changing about 30 times a day

:o

I second that! If you do the cooking, I'll do the cleaning. I don't mind cleaning cause I hate having things a mess and I hate clutter. As for the dishes, I'm still working on that myself. I'm getting better. I used to let my dishes pile up for so long that they started to smell and grow things. :paranoid: I live by myself so I feel I can get away with leaving things go for longer because it's just me who has to look at it and live with it. And I'll take Florida over PA any day!

Don't let her fool you....she hasn't gotten THAT much better with her dishes. I was just over there tonight and her sink was completely full!!!! I do have to admit, at least they don't smell and grow stuff anymore.:pukey

It's weird though with me...I hate having clutter and messes at work (I work retail, so it's really hard avoiding this cuz people are quite messy) but my room....complete mess. There for the longest time I wasn't exactly sure what color my carpet is. But I think I'm finally realizing that I'm an adult now and that I shouldn't have a messy bedroom. I gotta take baby steps towards that though. I start to feel overwhelmed if it's too clean.:o

GT40FIED 11-12-2003 10:14 PM

Being an adult has nothing to do with organization. As the saying goes, organized people are just too lazy to look for stuff. I'm pretty messy but there's a method to my madness. If someone came in and cleaned up I'd be so lost and not know where anything was. It's all about having a system.

BTW Chris - maybe you should take some of these ladies up on their offer...think about it...girl roommates.

DsBlu01CivEX 11-12-2003 10:55 PM

Yah I always end up pissed off at myself after I clean my room....I can walk into my room right now and find the most obscure thing...but the second I clean my room and put that object somewhere where "I'll remember where it's at", I can never find it. I just think at 23, people should be able to walk into your bedroom without being seriously injured. Although I should charge admission into my room...it's sort of like a maze in there, I could do a bedroom spin off on those corn maze things. :hmmm:

Whiteclipse99 11-13-2003 09:25 AM

My living space is a reflection of my personality in a way. If my apartment is messy and unorganized then people may assume I'm the same way. I like to have things neat, organized and I hate clutter! Although sometimes it's hard to keep up with and some things fall to the wayside.

I will never understand how D lives with her bedroom as messy as it is. She just has so much stuff and not enough places to store it. I can never walk through her room without stepping on something. I would love to just take a few trash bags and go through her room! How bout it D?

Florida is awesome... wtf are you talking about? I was down in St. Pete/Tampa this past weekend and it was great... yes it does shower for like 10 minutes every afternoon, but so? I walked to class this morning in 50 degree temps with huge wind and was freezing... my GF in St. Pete walked to class in 80 degree temps, sunny and no wind... yeah, Florida is awful. :D

Hmmm....let me think about this one.........

NO!!!! Dude Erin, I already threw away like 10 bags full of stuff...and I have about the same amount in clothing to give to charity. Oddly enough, I still have more to go through. I think my problem is that I have everything I own in one 14x14 room.:crowded What's really weird is that I MUST have a clean bathroom and kitchen. So, I don't mind cleaning either one of those rooms...as long as whoever I live with doesn't mind doing the dusting and vaccuming it'll work out great.
