Got the ashtray light extended and in tonight....

I'm gunna try to finish it up this weekend but I have all sorts of suspension issues and an exhaust leak I should deal with... not to mention the fact that I have about 100k on my timing belt:o .

But hopefully it'll be done in a week or two...

Also got some BMW 528 fog lights that will PERFECTLY fit the 2 factory spots... but I think they're a little too deep... I'm gunna see if I can make them fit though...

Eh i dont like it. I respect it, but it looks out of place to me. Too hardline in a newer dash. Why not just get an audioconsole ?

^ not trying to be a dick... but it fits the lines of the dash BETTER than the audio console does...

My reasons for using it were...

A. It's FREE
B. IMO it looks MUCH better than the stock audio console
C. It's got 6 switch holes
D. The porsche shift knob is leather and integrated into the shift bag or whatever.
E. It's got a better looking ashtray

and it just swallows the stock cupholders... so if they rattle (mine did) they will continue to do so UNDERNIETH the audio console where you can't even punch them/adjust them.

Oh and the leather/pleather it's wrapped in matches the interior MUCH better... and it's black instead of the silver/gray color the audio console is... makes for better contrast imo.

i have the audioconsole and i like it a lot. My audioconsole is black. and stock color.

i guess its just the pics but it looks real square to me.
