I have played both and agree that PS2 is the way to go.

1 downside to PS2...mine broke yesterday. I can still play games on it but DVD's it says "read disc error". BLAH damn sony's 1 year warrenty SHIT because its just after the year mark. My brothers PS2 also wont play DVD's anymore. i remember my playstation 1 took a MASSIVE amount of abuse because i was still young and still got pissed when i lost in a game and i had that thing for 4 years. i need to get mine fixed.

I broke my PS1 when i threw it out my bedroom window when i was playing GT2, it cheated somehow when i was in the lead and said the computer had won...it pissed me off bad:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

lol, yea that would break it. I once punched my hand through my tv screen. that hurt like shit....i was really pissed, i think it scratched my tekken2 and i had to buy another.

Yeah one of my controllers dont werk and my super nintendo don't werk from throwing shit and breaking stuff when i don't win.

I never broke my windshield but I did break one. An old friend of mine hit me with his car and I freaked out on him for drinking and driving so I ****ed his windshield up. Hahaha...

PS2 As you can play your old PSOne games as well as DVD's..

While the GameCube has a System Clock Frequency of 485 MHz.

Because Nintendo's stuck in the 80's. Think about it, they just came over to a disk this time around. I think they all have their advantages. The PS2 and Xbox appeal to a more older crowd, while I think Nintendo is still geared towards pleaseing a younger Mario Party Type of crowd. Don't get my wrong. I like Mario party, but I would take Silent Hill 2 over Mario Party any day.

This is a very good point.. Nintendo does indeed target the younger buyers, where as the Xbox and PS2 target the older ones. The games for Xbox and PS2 will be much more suited for us then most of the games for Nintendo will be. I forgot all about that. Good thinking.

the crapbox is garbage........dont waste your money on that microsoft piece of shiznit.
gamecube is fun, i enjoy a majority of games on that system. ps2 of course, is ownage in its purest form though. and it will remain supreme for many months to come.
just do like me and go for GC and PS2 ;)
