I hate Type R's

Ok, i am so sick of type r's i see them everywhere in springfield, its so gay.

Type R's come stock with the following parts:
Intake
Pepboyz Muffler
Clear Lights (altezzaz or whatever)
windshield whiper squirter thing lights
Mad Stickers to let you know its a Type R
Chinese wrighting
Body graphics
18inch white rims

- now all those mods on a stock type r are what makes it such a popular car.

Now, you all know im not talking about an ITR or CTR, those are the only respectable cars to ever have "type r" attatched to them.

Shaved &/or Laid 10-27-2003 05:15 PM

agreed. Theres a corolla Type R VTEC tuned around here

cashizslick 10-27-2003 07:57 PM

Dude, i can top that - i saw a fully tuned (when i say tuned, i mean "riced out") 6 cylander mustang with GTR stickers on it.

nonovurbizniz 10-28-2003 06:50 PM

I've seen mustangs with jap/chinese charectors on them...

And non-honda's with type R stickers... and vtec stickers...

spoogenet 10-28-2003 07:19 PM

If I ever got a Mustang, I'd put a big vtech (sic) sticker across the side and a big Type-ARE (sic) badge on the back, and I'd get a 12" tip, and a 4' tall aluminum wing, and put "Powered by Mullit" (sic) across the windshield.

MAXed Out 10-29-2003 11:06 AM

I have seen something like that but on a Subaru that had a V12 Emblem from a Benz. Also the same story on a Mitsu. Eclipse that had the GTR on the front and also a GTR sign on a mustang. LAMERS.

ebpda9 10-29-2003 11:12 AM

heh, now it's full of ricers around cleveland. just by slapping a big wing and a type r badge they think they get more than 50rwhp

cashizslick 10-29-2003 02:35 PM

Or, at least they drive like they do!

Shot 2 Hel 10-30-2003 07:26 PM

They should burn homeless people as a natural source of energy.

thermal 11-01-2003 09:55 AM

I really dont care what they do their car. What annoys me is when they claim that their 99-00 civic Si is a USDM typeR. I gotta sit there and explain why it is NOT. One kid I talked to insisted that he has a typeR because he had a B16B swap. I explained to him that all he has is a civic typeR engine, not a typeR civic. He got mad and told me that I was just jealous, so I popped up the hood on my teg and showed him my JDM teg typeR motor. Then I told him that I do not go around and tell everybody that I have an integra typeR, because it is not......

cashizslick 11-01-2003 10:29 AM

What did he say to that - this kid sounds like a real tool!

'87 integra 11-01-2003 04:28 PM

He just kept going. He said that I should go around and tell everybody the same.....that I have an Integra TypeR. I told him not to ever step inside my garage again..... He just laughed. I guess he thought I was kidding........

93Honda 11-02-2003 09:39 AM

this may be a stupid question, but what actually defines a type R? Is the body more specialized than a normal honda? Just wondering

well the type r is a trim level that came from the factory. it has some differences from your regular integras/civics/accords. I know for a fact that the real type r has 5 studs for the wheels, lowered driving stance from the factory, the wing and it comes only in 3 colors: yellow, white and black

thermal 11-02-2003 10:11 AM

A typeR is a typeR as per designation only by Honda as the builder. No matter what conversion we do to our non-typeR honda, it will never be a typeR..... even if you get every typeR component because it is not designated as typeR by the manufacturer. You may name it as a "typeR conversion" but NOT a typeR period.......
