jus got some new tires..had to to pass inspection i got two yokahomas in the back..and the two no name brand in the front with differetn tread patterns...will this matter in ne way...it seems ok?

I think as long as the two rears match and the two fronts match you can pass, but you cant have different brands per side ie: goodyear front left michelin front right...

yeah i think u should be able to pass. I don't it matters they might not even chaeck it.

as long as they have the same thread per axle it will be fine.

It wouldnt matter if they are on the same axle like hondaman-iac said. I would put the Yokohama's on the front tho.........

You're still best off having all 4 of the same tires. By mixing tires you're just making it so the traction of the front and back is different, so the handling of the car can be a little less predictable.

But for the most part it's not that big a deal as long as you keep the 2 tires on any given axle the same, as mentioned above.

Edit: Clarification on the traction thing. The handling isn't less predictable if you get familiar with it and know how it'll react. And I certainly wouldn't worry about it much unless you put some really crappy handling tires on 1 and some good ones on the other.....

my handling was fine when i had 22's on my car and 4 different kinds of tires.

If you actually had 22's, there aren't many poor-gripping tires sold for 22's. :)

But it can change things up when different tires grip in different ways and the sidewalls roll in different ways, etc. That's a litle more of a concern with 65-series tires where there's plenty of crappy tires *cough* MXV4 *cough*.
