Ok...so I'm a little late on this
So I just sat down and watched the copy of 2F2F that my roommate bought and I'm ashamed to admit I liked it better than the first. So I decided to swallow my pride and admit that I was wrong. More focus on cars, less focus on "plot" (yes, the quotations are VERY intentional). And how can you not love a 426 Hemi Challenger, Yenko Camaro, Skyline GTR, and watching a Vette get trashed? But here's my question...is the RX-7 that the scumy hispanic guy drives the same one they used in the first one for Vin's car? Looks almost exactly the same sans the rear wing.

2f2f was better than the first...if only slightly
and its a different rx7 |
I still haven't seen it, but I might watch it when it comes to HBO.
|
I honestly thought it was much better than the first (which I hate with passion), more emphasis on the cars rather than the "'plot'"
I wouldn't mind getting the dvd just because of the cars |
No it's not the same rx7 but i don't think that vin's car was the rx7. I dunno i might be wrong but i tought dom had the Rx7 and vince had that blue maxima.
|
By "Vin's" I meant Vin Diesel's aka Dom...he had that red RX-7. The car in the 2nd one looks exactly the same without the rear wing. It's even got the same wheels.
|
Hey the wheels are different.. the Wheels on Vin's car in the first one are those Veilside wheels and the others arent even close to those in the first one.
|
it was comical
|
I liked the first one better.
I thought the second one was directed more toward little kids, which might explain why so many of you like it, ahahahahaah. |
I just got a copy from a friend and watched it. I hated it. Even the first one was better IMO. The effects were just embarassing.
