Soon...

IN about 2 months...or...whenever i get the cash for the car...i'll be purchasing a 96 integra ls with 107k miles for 4k...or 5k with rims and a system...
i can't freakin wait...it's power everything...leather seats, sunroof, spoiler, and a nice 5 speed with a short throwshifter in it.
It's also got some kind of muffler on it...not sure what kind...it sounds nice atleast...as soon as i get it...pics will come soon...
And i got a question...what do you guys think i should do...keep it stock and just pay 4k for it...or get the rims and the system(cd player and 2 12's)

I'm startin to plan out already...first things i'll do is buy an AEM short ram intake, and a greddy header, and then the Greddy evo exhaust.
Whatcha think?

Depending on the system and what rims/quality because for 1k USD you can get a decent setup. I'd rather keep it, buy either new rims or something under the hood.

Kyle 10-03-2003 10:56 PM

the rims are konig something or other...forgot the specific name...$1300 rims...and all i know about the system is that it sounds great...i have what everything is written down somewhere(bad memory..)
i just can't find it

juvenile 10-03-2003 11:03 PM

ok, konig are usually nice rims. I believe their most infamous ones are the spoke rims. 8-10 spokes I believe. Anyways, if they're in good condition, go for it.

Kyle 10-03-2003 11:19 PM

I THINK..they're 7 spoke...i could be wrong though...it's either 5-7-9..not too sure...
i'm not too worried about it anywayz...the car itself blue books at around 6k...and i can either get it for 4 or 5k

Yeah i would keep the rims no matter what cause it gives it that unique look. About the system even tough it sounds great it slows your car down (rims too) In my teg when i had the system and 17" rims on it was a little slow but now it's a little faster so i'm considering on not getting another system if i'm keeping the car.

i'd say go with the $5k setup...just so thats a couple less things you have to worry about and i'd say $1k for a system and rims is worth it

Civickid0to60 10-04-2003 05:04 PM

i would get the car with the system and the rims,

good plans for it, but the evo exhausts that i have heard sound like a giant fart....no offense get it if you want, just fair warning.

ifeldwn02 10-04-2003 05:40 PM

good luck on the car u just got to look at it like its what u want and what other people think about it doesnt matter as long as its what u want

and u can play alot with a ls hehe

Kyle 10-04-2003 05:42 PM

uhhh.all the evo's i've heard...i think they sound pretty good

94_AcCoRd_EX 10-04-2003 07:30 PM

For an extra $1k, rims and a system is a good deal (even if they aren't the best). I'd go for the $5k option.

Shaved &/or Laid 10-04-2003 07:36 PM

why not get it without the system. make it performance oriented.

juvenile 10-04-2003 08:23 PM

Because I don't think he'll be dumping alot of money into the car so 1k won't really do much. AT least that's what I got from his responses.

Kyle 10-04-2003 09:37 PM

juv's right...the car isn't really going to be that performance oriented...I'm just gonna concentrate on just keepin it clean at first...then after i move out...i'll probably get into making the car fast(that'll be in atleast 6 months)
I did figure out what i'm gona do though.
I'm gonna get the car for 4k and then probably later on I'll get the rims and system from him about 2-4 weeks down the road(when i get payed again)
Thanks for all the advice though guys

Kyle 10-05-2003 10:28 PM
