Piston Question

13030-P5P-J00

Anybody know if this is the parts number for JDM Type S H22A OS 0.25 piston? Thanks.

ChrisCantSkate 09-30-2003 03:44 PM

NYCPrelude 09-30-2003 03:46 PM

Thanks for your reply but I already got the piston from Japan. The problem is that my friend sent me the wrong piston. I just want to make sure that 13030-P5P-J00 is the correct Type S OS piston parts number because he has to send me the correct one.

i just looked at them and by the sleeve or whatever they call it thers a number that says HF2 im not too shure if its like that on all of them but thats all i could find also did he/she specify that it was prelude or integra bc both have type s

NYCPrelude 10-01-2003 09:15 PM

Well, at first I told him I want a OS 0.50 Prelude Type S piston but when he sent me the piston, it turns out that the piston is so small. Even smaller than my OEM piston.

Jaret10 10-01-2003 09:33 PM

ohhh... can u send them back or whatever or u could find out what they go too then sell them

NYCPrelude 10-01-2003 09:35 PM

How can I find out which piston is that? Is there any website where I can check Honda OEM parts number?

Jaret10 10-02-2003 04:02 PM

im not real shure but can u call that person or talk to him he should be able to tell u i mean hes the one that got them
maybe a mechanic

I find out that the piston that I have is a Prelude piston but most likely it's the 2.0L Prelude piston since in Japan, the bottom of the line Prelude comes with a 2.0L engine.

Jaret10 10-02-2003 07:04 PM

ohh they must have got the type s and the s model mixed up

I believe the 5th gen bottom of the line Prelude have the 2.0L non VTEC, just like in Europe. The U.S version of 4th gen S have the 2.2L F-series engine.
