Thank god for connections....

Oh yes the time has come for me to actually get into this part buying downward spiral i have started on. For those that dont know i had an accident where i got rear-ended by a girl and ended up getting like $2,433 for the damages...So i had my mom call around for tsomeone that is good and cheap. Found a guy that will pull all the dents and mount my bumper...... 175 bucks. ;) I have to buy another bumper though from a friend that is putting a body kit on his car. another 150 bucks. That 2081 for thse not counting that i have left. My list goes a little something like this:
1) Passport 8500 (works good for dingo)
2)Dingo says nitrous...... ;)
3)headers
4)decent intake
5)colder plugs and fuel management system for more nitrous!;)
6) maybe a CF hood

What else do you guys think that should be added. I probably wont be getting all that but maybe i dont know...

Ummm suspension?

Why not just put a little more on top of what you have and get a turbo kit- probably just as much power as you would get with nitrous, only you don't have to refill a bottle. This also solves the intake/headers problem...

umm save your money and get a supercharger or dsm....you can always pick up an extra 400 bucks to get nitrous man. I would save it for a few weeks, till you get a pay check. if you dont work.... i would do this......

bored throttle body
ported intake manifold
intake
headers
plugs
plug wires
underdrive pulleys
lightened fly wheel
maybe a DVD screen with the ps2
ya know.
maybe a control mod.

well i found a turbo kit from revhard comapany anyone heard of them? Ebay stuff though....it was likt 3300 or something buy now...but if i was to get turbo (which is doubtfull) I would still need to get the headers and a decent intake anyway wouldnt you think?
Another reason i cant get a turbo is cause i cant find anyone that has actually made on for it yet. I seem to have the bastard child in the engine line up(K20a3) Which nobody seems to want to make parts for with out costing an arm and leg for. Any good comaanies that i should check with again? I know Thermal has offered one and then the rev har is all i know of.

I thought for turbo's you don't put on headers and you use turbo manifolds or something like that?

well no wouldnt you want to open up the breathin ability some more and make it not as restrictive as stock headers? And no i dont like the fugliness of the valentine :pukey to big and bulky

Right but I heard headers weren't as good for a turbo setup as the other I think they're called turbo manifold. It does the same things as headers on a NA setup except boosts performance on a turbo one.

AzCivic 09-29-2003 08:12 PM

the "header" you need is going to come with the turbo kit as well as the intake.

VR4_Craver 09-29-2003 08:17 PM

is that a kit for me car? or some other car?

AzCivic 09-29-2003 08:21 PM

it doesnt matter, its the rev hard kit, every kit they sell will have these components only they'll fit the specific car.
