'98 Accord Gear Ratios?
 

I am driving myself nuts over here trying to find out the gear ratios for my Accord. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated. This Haynes manual is useless and the owner manual is too clogged trying to tell me the capacity of the wiper fluid.

The reason that I asked is because I made the worst mistake of rice, and pegged 2nd instead of 4th at 95mph. Somehow, my engine was spared (although tomorrow I am kinda iffy about). Anyway, now I am trying to figure out how many RPM's I hit. I found that the final drive ratio is 4.06 and I was at about 6200rpm in 3rd gear when it happened. So, anybody want to find the ratios or do a little math? It will probably be up around 10k or so, right?

Yay! Found it on HondaNews.com after 2 hours of search:

So...

Ratios:
1st Gear: 3.285
2nd Gear: 1.777
3rd Gear: 1.193
4th Gear: 0.903
5th Gear: 0.685
Reverse: 3.000
Final Drive Ratio: 4.062

So, please, correct my math if I am wrong...But that puts me at about 9235 RPM when my car redlines at almost 3K under that... :pukey

Anyway, I feel kinda better about it now that I know that it wasn't THAT high up there. I will keep you guys updated if anything comes about.
