Umm... do you want a loud or quiet exhaust?
|
i guess i want a quiet one..or one with a silencer
|
thermal r&D 525 shipped from www.styledright.com
i can get you the apexi for 450 shipped anywhere in the us, or the greddy for around $500 shipped. just let me know |
if u want quiet i heard that apexi WS is the best
|
what you guys think about the 5Zigen ? Cause that's what i was thinking of buying? I don't know if its smog legal or whatever though.
|
If you want quiet, I definately wouldn't go Tanabe, that's for sure. I personally like the Greddy exhausts but they are all very reputable companies.

Yeah, either that, or the new RS*Rs: exhaust dB is 73dB at idle, and 89dB at 4650rpm. |
I read some stuff from CarReview about the 5Zigen Fireball....sound very good to me...
Click here to read the reviews Summary: This cat-back has in my opinion the best sound of anything on the market. Nice low purr, and when under stress at higher rpms sounds even better. Takes about 2 weeks for gaskets to seal and get the full sound out of it. Installation is straightforward and made easy by the design of the cat-back itself. The 5zigen sits nicely under the rear section of the car, angled slightly for an agressive look Strengths: Noticeable increase in power. (esp. in 2nd, 3rd gear) Great sound, very low. Weaknesses: None yet. |
aren't the fireball loud as a mudafuka? and the Apexi that I have heard sound like sh1t
go Thermal or GReddy if you want a sleeper sound |
My friends got a manga flow muffler with custom piping job 3 mechanics and I did for him. Sounds real deep pitched and gave a good boost. The piping cost around 150-300$ muffler 100$-up.
Just an idea. (To do your own) Ben |
thats what I'm probably gonna do is just get a custom mandrel bent cat at the local shop
|
go thermal it rocks

Hey, that's exactly what I have a magnaflow muffler and custom piping. Except I got the piping for free from the shop that did my header. It's a pretty deep tone and sounds good but gets quite loud at WOT |
I heard the 5 Zigen Fireball and it too loud! I hate them. I like the quiet catback.
