I didnt think that we could.becasue that you cause problems when you go to switch from the right lane to the left and you dont have a pasanger and you cream someone waiting to turn left in that lane. I think that they have to be converted or they are trailer queens.... |

was it rex's(i think thats his name)? the silver one with NICO all over it? |
yes you can leave it RHD, but Europe is LHD, Great Britian is RHD. Japaj is RHD.
all you have to do is convert the saftey features over to goverment acceptable levels. MotoRex is the best place to go and from what i remember a converted R34 ran about $100k even |
The Skyline I saw belonged to Garage Advance and I didn't meet the driver (looked to be about 20 years old).
![]() And to reaffirm HndaTch, yes, the RHD aspect is legal (think: mail trucks). The problems are safety and emissions/smog when it comes to legalization. -Ducky |
I like them but wouldn't pay 90 some k's for it. rather get something nice and pimp that out. IMO
|
Since I'm in the Navy, I hope to get stationed in Japan and bring back one of those. It will be free for me to get it shipped to U.S.....
|
yeah but only 1 company is allowed to do the conversion process to make it legal to drive... so you'll still need to pay them 30k plus to make it legal...
My dad's in overseas freight shipping (he deals mostly with japan)... I could have 30 of them tomorrow... it's just a matter of making them legal... (and having a buyer in japan).... I've got a boner for them and everything but frankly it's a little too overblown at this point... Nissan sucks balls for not bringing them over hear... much less getting rid of the 300z. Oh and no turbo sr20's here eats diock too... I never understood how the jdm boom came from honda... they have like 10 at most more hp then their american counterpart... but the nissans are REDICULOUSLY more powerful over there... imagine a 93 nissan sentra with a sr20det motor... that would be sick. that thing would have put the talon in it's place fwd or not. |
dude i could seriously afford a used R-34 right now.....no lie....i really could. but its like 3 years of savings.
uh oh.....now im thinking about it. |
you have approaching 90,000 dollars from 3 years of savings???
WTF do you do for a living? |

Used R33 or R34 is cheapest. Why they not around the street in State?

A lot of people don't even know about them. You mention a Nissan Skyline GTR to most people and they blankly stare at you. But those of us who know would kill for one. |
give me a german or italian car any day. If you are going to pay for a name, pay for a good one.

Hell yeah! Like Fiat or Opel or alfa Romeo! Oh...wait...you meant the nice ones, huh? |
Noovurbusinezz, my dad owns a chapter of this medicare company, not gonna name it, and when he is away on business, i am in control of it. And when he's home I still work for him.
|
I thought it is illegal to drive a rightside driver car.....
hmm...think I may have to go beat my friend if that's true |
no its perfectly legal man.
|

If that were true, mailmen would be getting pulled over left and right. |
^well not really... cuz yea thay work for the gov too... but what ever.. i saw a saturn wagon rhd today.. kinda wierd being that its a usa made car... but yea i would kill for one also....
