Ok...no disrespect to import/sport compact owners, but this has to be the gayest car show on TV. It's on right now and I'm thinking I've never seen them do a REAL car project. They're Kryloning a gas cap and fitting a cheesy body kit to a Civic and a Focus. They want you to think that you can get a true prismatic paint from an aerosol can. I thought digital cable would be great with the Speed channel...but all I see is that homo shit and NASCAR. Damnit...I hate wasting money (but American Musclecar, Dream Car Garage, and My Classic Car owns...they need a good import show...not something that showcases Miatas as their main attraction). Then again...what can you expect from a show sponsored by Pep Boys with commercials with that Hispanic guy from F&F?

Yeah, that show is pretty bad.....The only good one is Super 2NR on spike. It's made by the guys at sport compact and a few other magz....But, i do watch NOPI tunervision for the pro drags and Daylene....:yes:

yes the show is awful...although they did make a slight atempt to improve it by adding in more technical stuff and they got rid of the fat dude and the blonde, who both new about as much as my grandma

The only mods done on that show are Indiglow Gauges and NAWS. Seriously - they should actually show ya how to p&p your head, or use a portable Boring kit or something.

When I first heard about it I figured they'd have cool stuff...you know...Supras, 300ZXs, maybe an S2000 or somethin. But then it's all painting body kits with spray can paint. WTF? These guys are total douches.

there needs to be a channel.......like called, Tuner TV. If i ran a network named that, it would own all. Cause yes, hot rods and muscle cars are cool and all, but imports have so many components, and so much things you can do with them, and UHHH! I love em. It would b all import and thats it!!!

Here's my idea...a channel just like that with ALL kindsa cars. Old domestics, new domestics and imports...split it up half and half. But they'd have to showcase REAL stuff like a turbo install on a Civic or how to stroke out a 302 to a 347. NO BODY KIT INSTALLS!. And f@ck all that lame ass NASCAR or Totally NASCAR and Wind Tunnel and Vintage NASCAR. I don't wanna see the race that they had last week much less one they had 10 years ago. AAHHHHH! F@cking gay.

Well...I just meant I didn't want you guys to think I was knocking it JUST because it was a show "dedicated" to import/sport compact "tuning".

so what i am a sport compact family sedan driver and i am knocking it down. i think those are the shows that give bad ideas to the ricers and in turn we get a bad name.

that show is single handedly showing the domestic world that us "foreign car" enthusiasts must all be about the biggest sub and the "phAtTesT bAss!!!" yet my car which pulls upwards of .91g's(i've very keptical on this since it was a G-TECH) on street tires must be nothing but all show and no go.

i wish the North American car community wasn't so fickle and so easily suaded.

Has anyone seen the pepsi commercial with the truck with the 12 15" subs and the Hydro's?? that shows you where the US car market is going....right down the shitter

NEVER trust a G-tech for a skidpad, dyno, 1/4 mile, etc. Those things are crap. But you're right...the program is all show and no go....wtf happened to REAL tuner cars? Where's a Spoon Honda on that show? Oh...and as for the Pepsi commerical....I saw it ad I cried my eyes out. F@ckin homo shit.

Here's what NASCAR needs...VARIATION. Every car looks the same, uses the same 357ci engine, same carb (w/ a restrictor plate), same cam, same heads, same spark plugs, etc. Now if they'd let them deviate from that we'd have a race. It'd be about who could tune a better car (keep the 357, but them play with heads, cams, intakes, etc) instead of who could turn left. I mean c'mon...160mph seems fast until you realize, as AZcivic pointed out, that you're on a huge embankment in a car that's made to glue itself to the road. A retarded monkey with one hand up it's ass could drive those cars.
