MSD amplifiers
 

I just wanted to know for those that have one or know anything about them, which is better? MSD6a or teh SCI one. I got a blaster 3 external coil and wires that are on the way, any suggestion??

I heard they are the exact same thing. They are just trying to rip off the import scene with the SCI, it is the same thing as the 6a just a little fancier. IMO don't waste the extra money on the SCI

if i get the amplifier do i need to also upgrade my distributor/rotor?

you don't necesarily need to replace them but It does help especially if it is old.

Go MSD.. if had asked this question 5yrs ago, I would have said go Jacobs..

i havn't seen any msd distubitors for a none ex model

well you don't need the whole distributor. go with a crane cap and rotor
