Have a skunk2 camber kit? Have bad Ball Joints?
Well as many of you probably know, the ball joints on the skunk2 camber kit on civic's is known to go bad (sometimes after a long while, sometimes after a short while).
Well InlineFour.com now stocks replacement ball joints at fraction of the cost ($85 to $25 each). (Now, Im not sure if its all skunk2 camber kits, or just civics...if its all cars, pass the info along, please) Here's the direct link... skunk2 ball joints |
I'm pretty sure skunk will replace those for free if you have a reciept or proof of purchase of their camber kit... I saw something about it over on h-t....
Also the bj's go bad because the boot doesn't seat properly and grit gets in there... (this is what I read)... HOWEVER... this is ususally also a problem with the ES masterkit bj boot covers... as they do not seat as well as the stockers... there are lots of work-arounds for this though... personally my bj boots from my master kit sealed fine... but I put stuff together with an impact gun (ignoring torque specs) so it seats pretty tight.. but there are NO problems as of yet.... |
