Reduce heat.

I'm getting a vehicle sunshade and a towel on the steering wheel to reduce the heat.

pauls-si 07-10-2003 11:28 PM

my wheel doesnt get that hot...when it does I just ignore it ...but then again Im tough as nails

ebpda9 07-11-2003 12:05 AM

heh, i like hot things expecially girls  ;) but tinting would be your best bet because the good film rejects a lot of heat, but then again the tint does not cover the windshield

pbateson 07-11-2003 12:27 AM

Also, I'm gettin a dark tinted windows too.

CD5Passion 07-11-2003 01:13 AM

hahahaha I'd like to see you try that here in Tucson. I use a sun shade and have dark tint and it still gets freakin hot as hell in the car.

Duckydos 07-11-2003 06:21 AM

I've never bothered, but the top of my steering wheel has started to blister (or whatever). It's pretty sad. The only thing I really do is take my radar detector down and hide it away from the sun.

vick88 07-11-2003 07:54 AM

I have a STEEring wheel cover and my wheel steal gets hot, as far as the sun shades go i used to have a pair but my puppy dog took a shlt on them and i had to through them away :o

Ya man, sunshades are the way to go. I almost always use them to keep the interior from getting messed up.

guywithastang 07-11-2003 07:45 PM

I have a white car , it helps a lot.

By the way, if anyone remembers me referring to a headbanger smilie, I found it (as you can see in the last post). ;)

Because 70 or 80 degrees is so hot. Go see those people out in Arizona, and the 110+ degrees they have. Then talk about hot.
