uhhh whats wrong with me??
 

ok yesterday i was welding a bike.. and i welded for like 45 min... and 30 min after, my face was verrrrry red and burns soo bad that i cant even eat.... i woke up this morning and it is soooooo much worse...what is it??? uhhh this sucks bad.... any ideas?

yea i had a mask but it doesnt cover your whole face.. thay make you look like a pod racer or something.... but aeewwwch its like sun burn X1000000000000000

that's why, if it only covered your eyes, you exposed your face to near sun strength energy from that thing for 45 minutes

could be a chemical burn from the melted metals...see a doctor tomorrow...

what kind of welding did u do ? electric, mig, tig or the other one with the gas ? i know the electric types are soo bad.

its a wire feed mig..... yea dude it does suck... and hirts too. . idk if its the gas because i had a fan going, and it dident really get on me at all... i am thinking its like a sun burn.. i went to a friends who also welds, and asked him if it can burn you like the sun can .. and he said it does..... so idk?? its wierd because i usaly have a full face mask, but i was teaching my brother how to wield and, i let him use it.. so i had one that looks like swimming gogles...so my face is never exposed to the wield lite...but what i dont get is, why me arms never get like this.. i allways ware short sleve shirts.. and thay are a lot closer than my face... so idk??

arm hair protection? face is more sensitive than anything (thats why shaving sucks...) vapors rise (maybe)

yea i put some aloe on it and it fells a little better...o and mabe the skin on your arms is thicker than your face...??

the skin on your face is a lot more sensitive than the one on your arms and body. it's almost as sensitive as the one on your private parts :yes:

careful using moisturizers, it could cause the skin to bubble, as it is already trying to sweat (more than likely) and the aloe may trap it (ive seen it on sunburns lots of times)...and get ready for it to peel like a mo fo

thats crazy man...i'm sure it hurts....reminds me of my burnt leg I recieved from an attempt to grill instead I recieved 2nd degree burns......

would you rather know that it MIGHT peel...or have it be a surprise to wake up some morning and look like a snake?

hahah no dude i knew it was going to happen.. hahah but i wonder how long till i start to peel....? man i have NEVER been sun burnt.. EVER! i can be out in the sun all day and be fine.. i just dont get burnt..:yes: so this kinda wierd...
