safety requirements... you CAN NOT race w/o race seats... Some classes allow it but most require race seats 4point harness' and a helmet at the very least

Oh damn it! Why we need a racing seats?

I saw a leather racing seats at Pep Boys it called 3R Racing. Only $234.

If I'm goin to get one and race around the track.

Why the track need a racing seats?

You can race SCCA Solo-II on stock 3-point seats, and at most 1/4 tracks, you have to be getting into the 11's before you have to worry about a racing seat. I think in most cases, people get racing seats for the looks. Seats like WeaponR and 3R usually are weaker then the stock seats. People just like the colors and style.

And I know that in most cases, sunroofs weigh an addition 40-70lbs.
