US Cars suck...

WTF. Why can't we get all these crazy cars in the US. We get the left overs and the p*$$y versions of all the cool sh*t.

guywithastang 06-24-2003 05:45 PM

those are cool??

pbateson 06-24-2003 05:50 PM

It's just something different. We've had the same set of cars for the longest time. We need a change. I think if you put some 16"s on the Logo, dropped it, turbo and Nitro, it'd be PHAT!!

nonovurbizniz 06-24-2003 06:33 PM

Something different???

it's a gti clone which EVERY company releases overseas... nissan has one too and it's actually worth wanting being turboed and what not..

If every company that made a golf clone sent it over here there'd be like 10 to choose from... beyond the ORIGINAL one.

the other one just looks like an odyssey

member 06-24-2003 07:02 PM

move to japan...

you'll think the same way, except you'll be wishing you'd get cars like the us...

DumbMoFo 06-24-2003 08:36 PM

Go get a VW Golf or Ford Focus, that should satisfy.

Or move overseas.

Duckydos 06-24-2003 09:03 PM

I could sh*t out cars that look cooler then that. No offense, of course.

pimpinprelude 06-24-2003 09:28 PM

did u know that 90% of ford cars made between 1984 and 2003 are still on the road.......... and the other 10% made it home....

hahah

ebpda9 06-24-2003 09:41 PM

wow, i didn't know they had a 4dr SI ;) or a honda festiva :o

94_AcCoRd_EX 06-24-2003 10:21 PM

I'm actually glad we don't have those cars here. :pukey

spoogenet 06-25-2003 07:47 AM

Now if you posted the Euro-R Accord or a Mercedes A class or something, I'd agree with you.

But based upon the evidence you have provided, the US gets plenty of cool cars.

LOL. You all have good points. We have some pretty awesome cars. But the models offered in other contries usually have more juice and less safety features. I want more juice.

93Honda 06-25-2003 11:42 AM

so while using that extra "juice" when you get hit , you'd rather have your car fall to peices and you fly out the windshield at 80 mph, ok whatever floats your boat.

msvtec14 06-25-2003 12:32 PM

The Logo is not too bad. I think the Stream is just atrocious. While the Logo does bear some resemblance to a GTI as nonovurbizniz said, I also agree with ShagginJet in terms of the potential that this car could have with the proper mods.

I don't mind wearing a helmet. infact i've been wanting to drive around town in a helmet, haven't had a chance yet. N e ways i'd buy sparco seats and 4 or 5 point belts as one of the mods... so.

93Honda 06-26-2003 12:53 AM

oh ok, nevermind, i thought you meant just driving around with a flimsy lap belt lol.

why?

ShagginJet 06-26-2003 12:58 PM

I think i'd be f*cking hillarious. I'd like to get me and my friend both in the car, in our motorcycle leathers, helmets, gloves, me driving, him with a map calling out directions.... Straight WRC racing through downtown LA. AWESOME!!

93Honda 06-26-2003 01:58 PM

that would be funny, then pull up to some old grandma in a cadillac and put a radio to your mouth and start screaming, she's gaining on us, pick up the pace.

msvtec14 06-26-2003 02:12 PM

I have a Cadillac

Sol's Eye 06-26-2003 07:15 PM

Yay! More mini-mini-vans! We need more of those here in the US. That way, if you can't buy a van, you can always buy a mini-van. And if you can't afford a mini-van, you can always go a step smaller. I will fight the mini-mini-vans till the day I die!

spoogenet 06-27-2003 08:44 AM

One word.....Renault Espace F1. Now THAT's a minivan I'd drive happily....and it's the only minivan I'd drive.
