What kind of Engine do I have?

I have a 1992 Honda Accord EX I'm trying to figure out what model engine i have in my car. Do you know? If you do please reply!

ok you have an f22 engine. im not sure about the head but it might be an a4. Mine is an a1. Ur car make about 130-135hp. Anything else ? Ok so you can be sure, go out pop the hood, and look where the engine meest the tranny, there should be like a black plastic cover that covers a window into the torque converter/clutch assemblie. Somewhere below that is your engine code.

Actually, if it's a '92 EX, he would have the F22A6 variant.

You have an F22A4.
130 hp, 142 lbs torque.

I've seen similar dyno figures and quarter mile times from everthing from a '90 LX to a '93 SE, so I am of the opinion that the minor differences between the 3 different USDM F22 engines don't account for much.

because the DX is the lightest and the heaviest will be the EX's and SE's. There is a difference about 100lbs.

hello all. im new to this site and i own a 94 honda accord lx. i was wonderin if any of you people could tell me what kind of engine i have and what kind of power it has. also, im new to the whole import modification world. can someone tell me where i should start engine wise. like i plan on getting a cold air intake, a new exhaust system, a header, and a turbo kit. am i off on the right foot? thanks

i guess you have a f22b1 hp: 145hp@5500rpms and for torque 147@4500rpms
